Roomy

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 27 July 2026

Short version

Roomy does not collect, transmit or store any of your data. There are no servers, no accounts and no analytics. Everything the app does happens on your device.

What the app accesses, and why

AccessWhyLeaves your device?
Photos and videosTo find duplicates, similar shots, low-quality photos, screenshots, selfies, large videos and screen recordingsNo
ContactsTo find duplicate and incomplete contactsNo
CalendarTo find outdated and repeated eventsNo

Permissions are requested only when you open the matching section, and the app works without them — those sections simply stay empty.

Backups

Before deleting contacts or calendar events, Roomy writes a .vcf / .ics backup file. It is saved to your own device storage (Files on iOS, Downloads on Android). It is never uploaded anywhere and only you can read it.

Analytics, ads, tracking

None. Roomy contains no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK and no tracking of any kind. No identifier is collected, and nothing is shared with third parties.

Purchases

The Pro subscription is processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). Roomy never sees your payment details. Only the fact that a subscription is active is stored on your device. Please refer to Apple's and Google's own privacy policies for how they handle payments.

Children

Roomy is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone, regardless of age.

Your rights

Because no data is collected, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export or delete. Removing the app removes everything it stored on your device.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new date.
